THE ORIGIN:
The word "drift" was not recorded in Old English, and its origin is Uncertain.
Respectfully, etymology has it where (dryft), given the word, is derived from Middle English which was the formal English Language spoken until late 15th century after Norman Conquest of 1066.
Stemmed from 16th century, a good sensical chase of the word (drift) actually catered to "what one was getting at".
Where as mundanely today, the common connotation or expression whenever you think the listener may be confused or not follow your main idea. ( if you catch my drift )
In Homer's 'Odyssey', the protagonist Odysseus utilized the idiom-phrase "catch my drift" throughout the story line play to ask his immediate loyal subjects if they understand. (c. 8th century BC)
OUR MISSION:
Since 2018, a small cultured street crew from Manhattan NYC called "the drifters" grouped together each sharing unique urban experiences showcased in a multitude of talents. (eg. design, style, music, curation)
